The fourth-generation Trumpchi GS4, marketed as the GS4 Max, was announced in March 2024 as a redesigned version of the Trumpchi Emkoo on GAC's Global Platform Modular Architecture. It replaced both the second-generation GS4 and the GS4 Plus. It has a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, producing 174 hp, with a claimed WLTC fuel consumption of 6.8 L/100 km.
