FactThe first Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4 beat the world to a milestone — it was the first mass-production diesel-electric hybrid ever sold.
Launched in 2008, the first-generation Peugeot 3008 shares its PSA PF2 platform with the Peugeot 5008, the three-row MPV and larger counterpart, and is related to the Peugeot 308 I and Citroën C4 and C4 Picasso. Despite having its styling criticised, it was praised by motoring magazines, and What Car? awarded it Car of the Year for 2010; it also won the 2010 Semperit Irish Car of the Year. The Exclusive and Allure models have a head-up display that projects onto a small screen in front of the driver, and a distance alert warns if the car is too close to the vehicle ahead. It was built in Mulhouse and Sochaux, France, from 2008 to 2016, with production in Wuhan, China from 2010 to 2019 and in Malaysia and Kazakhstan, and from 2010 to late 2012 the 3008 was imported from Europe to China.

Owning one
We don’t estimate running costs for a car like this. What it costs depends on its condition, its specialist and how it is driven, and an average would mislead.
