Saturn introduced the second-generation Vue in 2007 for the 2008 model year, built at Ramos Arizpe, Mexico, as a rebranded version of the German-designed Opel Antara on the GM Theta platform, also sold as the Chevrolet Captiva Sport. It had a large chrome grille, teardrop headlights and a sloping roof. Engines were a 2.4 litre four, a 3.5 litre V6 and a 2.4 litre eAssist mild hybrid, with four- and six-speed automatics.
