The Saturn Vue was designed by Saturn and introduced for the 2002 model year, built at Spring Hill, Tennessee, until 2007 on the GM Theta platform shared with the Chevrolet Equinox and Pontiac Torrent. It was a five-door compact SUV with a 2.2 litre four, a 3.0 litre V6 and later a Honda-built 3.5 litre V6, and from 2007 a 2.4 litre mild hybrid with GM's 36-volt system. Transmissions included a five-speed manual, a CVT and four- and five-speed automatics.
