The Renault Arkana is a compact coupé-style crossover SUV; the name derives from the Latin arcanum, meaning secret. The Russian-market version (model code LJC) debuted in May 2019 after a near-production showcar at the 2018 Moscow International Automobile Salon, built at the Renault Russia plant in Moscow on the B0+ platform, a heavily revised variant of the B0 platform used by the Captur and Duster (related to the Dacia Duster HM). It uses the 1.3 TCe turbo petrol with a Jatco CVT8, with a 1.6 H4M petrol also listed, front- or four-wheel drive and 5-speed or 6-speed manuals or an X-Tronic CVT. Assembly in Kazakhstan (SaryarkaAvtoProm, Kostanay) began in 2021 and ZAZ in Zaporizhia, Ukraine was announced on 16 September 2020; production was stopped prematurely in 2022 after international sanctions against Russia. Wheelbase 107.1 in, length 178.9 in, width 71.7 in, height 61.8 in.

Owning one
We don’t estimate running costs for a car like this. What it costs depends on its condition, its specialist and how it is driven, and an average would mislead.

Renault couldn't call this car "Arkana" everywhere — in the former Yugoslavia it's sold as the Mégane Conquest, because the name echoed Arkan, a Serbian warlord indicted for war crimes.
