Previewed as the Zafira Tourer Concept at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show and shown in production form at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show (exterior by Quentin Huber), built at Bochum and Rüsselsheim on the Delta II platform shared with the Astra J and Cascada and the Chevrolet Orlando. It is larger than the Zafira B, which continued alongside it from 2011 to 2014 as the cheaper Zafira Family, and was aimed at the Ford S-Max. Petrol engines run from 1.4 and 1.6 turbo (SIDI, 170 and 200 PS) to a 1.8 VVT, with LPG and CNG ecoFLEX versions, and the diesels from a 1.6 CDTI to a 195 PS 2.0 CDTI Bi-Turbo. It won "Best Estate" at the 2012 German Car of the Year awards and the 2012 Golden Steering Wheel, and earned five Euro NCAP stars; Vauxhall axed the Zafira Tourer in the UK because of the rise of SUVs. The Zafira-e Life and the Grandland succeeded it.

Owning one
We don’t estimate running costs for a car like this. What it costs depends on its condition, its specialist and how it is driven, and an average would mislead.
