The second-generation Minica Toppo, sold from 1993 to 1998, was essentially a thorough facelift of the short-lived first generation, stretched out to take full advantage of the new kei class regulations: the new front end was that of the new seventh-generation Minica, with the first Toppo's rear bodywork and largely unchanged passenger compartment, and 657 cc 3G83 and 659 cc 4A30 engines with a four- or five-speed manual or three- or four-speed automatic. A retro-styled variant, the Minica Toppo Town Bee, was introduced in 1996.

Owning one
We don’t estimate running costs for a car like this. What it costs depends on its condition, its specialist and how it is driven, and an average would mislead.

When Mitsubishi revived the Toppo name in 2008, it didn't design a new body. It reused third-generation door panels and sheet metal, bolted onto the underpinnings of the second-generation eK Wagon.

This Toppo's passenger door is deliberately longer than the driver's door — a lopsided body built specifically so rear passengers climb out on the safer curb side.

The Fiat 500L has a genuine claim to fame beyond its looks: it was the first production car anywhere to offer a built-in espresso machine as an option.

Fiat built every 500L in Serbia, at Kragujevac, and still sold half a million of them worldwide by early 2018.
