FactFiat built every 500L in Serbia, at Kragujevac, and still sold half a million of them worldwide by early 2018.
The 500L was a five-door mini MPV built by Fiat Serbia at Kragujevac from 2012 to 2022 and sold worldwide, on a variant of the FCA Small Wide platform with cab-forward packaging. A longer seven-seat 500L Living followed in 2013 for Europe, and a 2017 facelift revised the front and rear and the infotainment. Production reached 500,000 by early 2018, and it left North America after the 2020 model year.

This Toppo's passenger door is deliberately longer than the driver's door — a lopsided body built specifically so rear passengers climb out on the safer curb side.

When Mitsubishi revived the Toppo name in 2008, it didn't design a new body. It reused third-generation door panels and sheet metal, bolted onto the underpinnings of the second-generation eK Wagon.

Mitsubishi built this Toppo's passenger door longer than the driver's, a small asymmetry meant to make rear-seat entry safer.

Partway through this generation, Mitsubishi rolled out a deliberately retro-styled version, the Minica Toppo Town Bee — different enough from the standard car to earn its own name.
