The Li L6, revealed 18 April 2024 as Li Auto's sixth vehicle and fourth, smallest and most affordable L-series model (following the similar L7, L8 and L9), quickly became the brand's best-selling nameplate. Its 1.5-litre L2E15M turbo four range-extender works with a permanent-magnet synchronous motor for a combined 300 kW (410 PS, 400 hp); a 36.8 kWh LFP battery gives 182 km WLTP electric range with a combined range up to 1,160 km. Front-engine, dual-motor four-wheel drive; wheelbase 2,920 mm (115.0 in), length 4,925 mm (193.9 in), width 1,960 mm (77.2 in), height 1,735 mm (68.3 in), curb weight 2,330-2,345 kg (5,137-5,170 lb). As with the L7, the page calls this a range-extender system rather than using the literal "plug-in hybrid" phrase, so fuel_type is left unset.

Owning one
We don’t estimate running costs for a car like this. What it costs depends on its condition, its specialist and how it is driven, and an average would mislead.

Every Defender before this one was body-on-frame — this generation broke decades of tradition with an aluminium unibody structure instead.

Crashed on the passenger side instead of the driver's, the 2014 Forester showed far more intrusion and would have rated Marginal with the IIHS.

Subaru built a 2.5XT for the National Ski Patrol with a diamond-plate floor, a 9,500-pound winch and a toboggan on the roof.

The L405 was the first Range Rover with a fully aluminum monocoque body, cutting up to 420 kg from the outgoing steel-bodied L322.
