First shown at the 1986 Turin Auto Show, the Thema 8·32 ("8" for the cylinders, "32" for the valves) used a 2,927 cc Ferrari Tipo F105L V8 based on the unit in the Ferrari 308 GTB, with a cross-plane crankshaft. 2,370 Series 1 cars were built from 1986 to 1988 and 1,601 Series 2 cars from 1989 to 1992. Enzo Ferrari owned one as personal transport.
