The EV6 GT, released on 4 October 2022, is the high-performance version of the EV6. Two motors give 430 kW (577 hp) and 740 Nm, with a rear electronic limited-slip differential, electronically controlled suspension, four-piston calipers and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres. It has 21-inch wheels with neon green calipers, sports bucket seats, a GT Mode with regenerative-braking maximisation and Kia's first Drift Mode. It won the 2023 World Performance Car of the Year award; GT models for North America continued to be built in Korea.
