The EV6, developed under the codename CV, is a battery electric compact crossover and the first Kia built on the E-GMP platform shared with the Hyundai Ioniq 5. Kia released the first photographs on 15 March 2021 and fully revealed it on 2 August 2021; it was the 2022 European Car of the Year. A facelift revealed on 14 May 2024 replaced the 77.4 kWh battery with an 84 kWh pack. It is built in Hwaseong, South Korea, and from 2025 in West Point, Georgia. The high-performance EV6 GT is a separate model.
