The GV60 (model code JW1) is a battery electric compact luxury crossover built in Ulsan since 2021, the first Genesis on the E-GMP platform shared with the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6. It was unveiled on 19 August 2021 and released globally on 30 September 2021, with Face Connect facial recognition and a new guilloche-pattern Genesis emblem. A facelift announced on 6 January 2025 replaced the 77.4 kWh battery with an 84 kWh pack and fitted a single 27-inch display. The high-performance GV60 Magma is a separate model.
