The FG F6, introduced in 2008 (the Typhoon/Tornado names dropped), used the Barra 310T turbocharged inline-six at 310 kW (416 hp) and 417 lb-ft, with the Tremec TR-6060 manual; the F6 E executive variant followed in 2009 with standard Brembo brakes, wood-grain dash, a reversing camera and leather seats. The FG Mk II of 2011 revised the front fascia and grille and added an integrated reversing camera on an 8-inch touchscreen; the F6 was discontinued in 2014.

This DeVille/Fleetwood was the first production car anywhere to mount its V8 sideways, Cadillac's front-drive gamble on the new C-body.
