The Xiaomi SkyNomad N70 is a range-extended mid-size SUV built by Xiaomi Auto in Beijing on the Kunlun Architecture, the second model in the SkyNomad series alongside the larger N90. It was first revealed through MIIT documents on 10 July 2026, introduced with the N90 on 30 July 2026 and launched in early September 2026. It shares the N90's design, with "Mi"-shaped headlights like the SU7 and YU7. A 1.5-litre turbocharged engine acts as a generator; the N70 Pro is front-wheel drive and the N70 Max has dual-motor all-wheel drive.

Every Defender before this one was body-on-frame — this generation broke decades of tradition with an aluminium unibody structure instead.

The L405 was the first Range Rover with a fully aluminum monocoque body, cutting up to 420 kg from the outgoing steel-bodied L322.

Rear passengers get a 17.3-inch screen that extends from the roof, and a lidar sensor sits in the front of the roof.

Its range-extender variant is rated for 1,200 km on a tank and charge, over three times the car's electric-only range.
