We don’t estimate running costs for a car like this. What it costs depends on its condition, its specialist and how it is driven, and an average would mislead.

The Gen-F VXR8 GTS arrived in 2013 packing a supercharged 6.2-litre LSA V8 at 576bhp — tuned to 587bhp for a final 2017 run of just 15 GTS-Rs before the model died with Holden's Australian factories.

When the VXR8 GTS landed in 2010, its LS3 V8 cranked out 436 bhp — more muscle than the car it replaced, right before the Gen-F redesign took over in 2013.

The Bathurst S wasn't just a trim bump — Vauxhall bolted a supercharger onto its LS2 V8 for 552 bhp, making it the most powerful VXR8 of its time.

This is a British Vauxhall named after an Australian race — the VXR8 Bathurst and Bathurst S editions honor the legendary Bathurst 1000.
