FactTata revived the Sierra name from a boxy 1991 SUV and gave it to a subcompact crossover three decades later.
The second-generation Tata Sierra revives the name of Tata's 1991–2003 SUV as a subcompact crossover, unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo on 17 January 2025 and launched on 25 November 2025; it is sold as the Tata Styzor in South Africa. The petrol and diesel versions use Tata's Atlas architecture, with a 1.5 Hyperion turbo-petrol, a 1.5 Revotron petrol and a 1.5 Kryojet turbo-diesel. The Sierra EV, launched on 30 June 2026 on the Gen 2 Acti.ev platform, has 63 or 75 kWh batteries with rear- or all-wheel drive.

Owning one
We don’t estimate running costs for a car like this. What it costs depends on its condition, its specialist and how it is driven, and an average would mislead.
