FactTata's smallest SUV was shown twice as a concept, first the Hornbill, then the HBX, before it kept neither name at launch.
The Tata Punch, the smallest SUV below the Nexon, was revealed as the H2X concept ('Hornbill') at the 2019 Geneva show, followed by the near-production HBX concept at Auto Expo 2020, before its 23 August 2021 reveal and 4 October 2021 launch; it shares the ALFA-ARC platform with the Altroz. Its 1.2-litre Revotron three-cylinder petrol (also used in the Altroz, Tiago and Tigor) came with 5-speed manual, 5-speed AMT or 6-speed manual gearboxes; the Punch.ev EV variant followed 5 January 2024 on Tata's Pure EV acti.ev architecture. Front engine, front-wheel drive; wheelbase 2,445 mm (96.3 in), length 3,800 mm (149.6 in), width 1,742 mm (68.6 in), height 1,615 mm (63.6 in).

Despite launching from a standing start in late 2025, the i60 topped GAC Aion's own sales chart through January's seasonal slowdown.

Every Defender before this one was body-on-frame — this generation broke decades of tradition with an aluminium unibody structure instead.

Crashed on the passenger side instead of the driver's, the 2014 Forester showed far more intrusion and would have rated Marginal with the IIHS.

Subaru built a 2.5XT for the National Ski Patrol with a diamond-plate floor, a 9,500-pound winch and a toboggan on the roof.

The L405 was the first Range Rover with a fully aluminum monocoque body, cutting up to 420 kg from the outgoing steel-bodied L322.

Rear passengers get a 17.3-inch screen that extends from the roof, and a lidar sensor sits in the front of the roof.

Its range-extender variant is rated for 1,200 km on a tank and charge, over three times the car's electric-only range.
