The second-generation SsangYong Chairman W (2008–2017; model years 2008–2018), related to the Mercedes-Benz E-Class (W211) and briefly planned as the Roewe R95 in China, replaced the Chairman H in 2008 with new petrol engines (the CW700 appeared in 2011–2013, with a redesign in 2013). The 3.2 I6 XGi320 (3,199 cc) gave 225 PS (222 hp) at 6,600 rpm and 296 N·m (218 lb·ft) at 4,600 rpm, the 3.6 I6 XGi360 (3,598 cc) 250 PS (247 hp) and 343 N·m (253 lb·ft), and the 5.0 V8 XGi500 (4,966 cc) 306 PS (302 hp) at 5,600 rpm and 441 N·m (325 lb·ft), all with a listed top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph). It was succeeded in name by the Roewe 950 (R95) that never reached SsangYong buyers.

Owning one
We don’t estimate running costs for a car like this. What it costs depends on its condition, its specialist and how it is driven, and an average would mislead.
