FactŠkoda claims this compact Kamiq actually has more rear legroom than the bigger Octavia and the Karoq.
The Škoda Kamiq is a subcompact crossover SUV (B-segment) produced by Škoda Auto since 2019, the smallest of the Škoda SUVs, which also include the Karoq, Enyaq and Kodiaq. It is based on the concept Vision X first shown in 2018, debuted at the February 2019 Geneva Auto Show and went on sale in June 2019, with deliveries officially starting in September 2019. It takes styling cues from the Karoq and Kodiaq, with a more upright grille and optional narrow LED running lights, and is built on the Volkswagen Group MQB A0 platform used by the SEAT Arona and Volkswagen T-Cross while offering more interior space than both; Škoda claims more rear legroom than in the Octavia and Karoq. It is only offered with front-wheel drive, since it is aimed primarily at urban families and the MQB A0 platform does not support all-wheel drive. The global Kamiq is unrelated to the larger Chinese-market Kamiq. A facelift was unveiled in August 2023 alongside the Scala, and diesel engines are no longer available for the facelift model.

Owning one
We don’t estimate running costs for a car like this. What it costs depends on its condition, its specialist and how it is driven, and an average would mislead.
