The second-generation Juke was previewed by the 2015 Gripz concept, unveiled on 3 September 2019 in five European cities and built in Sunderland from October 2019. It moved to the CMF-B platform shared with the Renault Captur II and Clio V, grew in size yet weighed about 23 kg less, with more rear space and a 20 percent larger boot. It launched with a 1.0-litre three-cylinder DIG-T turbo, and a 1.6-litre petrol hybrid from the Captur arrived in March 2022. Outside Europe and Australasia it was largely replaced by the Kicks.

Despite launching from a standing start in late 2025, the i60 topped GAC Aion's own sales chart through January's seasonal slowdown.

Every Defender before this one was body-on-frame — this generation broke decades of tradition with an aluminium unibody structure instead.

Crashed on the passenger side instead of the driver's, the 2014 Forester showed far more intrusion and would have rated Marginal with the IIHS.

Subaru built a 2.5XT for the National Ski Patrol with a diamond-plate floor, a 9,500-pound winch and a toboggan on the roof.
