The Nio ES7 (sold in Europe as the EL7), announced online in June 2022 and in production that year for the Chinese and European markets, was the first Nio model built on the NT 2.0 platform, a boxier-roofed 5-door, 5-seat mid-size luxury crossover SUV sharing its platform with the sportier-roofed EC7. Its dual-motor four-wheel-drive system pairs a 180 kW (245 PS, 241 hp) front motor with a 300 kW (408 PS, 402 hp) rear motor for 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds; swappable 75-150 kWh Li-ion battery packs are offered. Dual-motor four-wheel drive; wheelbase 2,972 mm (117 in), length 4,903 mm (193 in), width 1,982 mm (78 in), height 1,730 mm (68 in), curb weight 2,381 kg (5,249 lb).
