The Nio ES9 is Nio's flagship battery electric full-size luxury SUV and the SUV counterpart of the ET9 sedan, built in Hefei on the NT 3.0 platform. It was revealed through official documents on 8 January 2026 and presented on 9 April 2026, with deliveries from late May 2026. It shares the ET9's dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain and 900-volt-class architecture with a swappable 102 kWh battery. It has steer-by-wire, 8.4-degree rear-wheel steering and Nio's Skyride fully active suspension.
