FactMazda's CX-6e is built by Changan in Nanjing and is mechanically a rebadged Deepal S07, not a Mazda design underneath.
The CX-6e, known in China as the EZ-60, is a mid-size crossover developed and built by the Changan Mazda joint venture in Nanjing since August 2025, heavily based on the Deepal S07 and sharing its EPA1 platform with the EZ-6/6e. It was previewed by the Arata concept at the 2024 Beijing show, revealed at Auto Shanghai in April 2025 and launched in China on 26 September 2025. It is offered as a battery electric car and as an extended-range EV whose 1.5-litre engine acts as a generator for a 255 hp rear motor, with the motor at the rear in both. It went on sale in Australia on 11 April 2026 with a 77.9 kWh battery.
