The Li i8 is a battery electric full-size luxury SUV built by Li Auto in Changzhou since 2025, the brand's second fully electric car after the Mega and the flagship of its i-series. It was designed to maximise cabin space for all three rows, giving up a frunk, and has a drag coefficient of 0.218. It was the first Li Auto car with the company's own 800-volt silicon carbide electronics, allowing 5C charging. At launch it had dual-motor all-wheel drive with a 97.8 kWh CATL battery; a single-motor rear-wheel-drive version was added in August 2026.

Owning one
We don’t estimate running costs for a car like this. What it costs depends on its condition, its specialist and how it is driven, and an average would mislead.
