FactLBX stands for Lexus Breakthrough X-over, and it is the first Lexus built on the same small platform as a Toyota Yaris.
The LBX ("Lexus Breakthrough X-over") is a subcompact luxury crossover introduced in June 2023 in Milan as the smallest crossover in the Lexus range, below the UX. It is the first Lexus on the TNGA GA-B platform shared with the XP210 Yaris Cross and Yaris, entered production at Toyota Motor East Japan in December 2023 and went on sale in Europe and other markets in early 2024. The hybrid uses a 1.5-litre three-cylinder with a bi-polar nickel–metal hydride battery, allowing a larger electric motor than the Yaris Cross, and is offered with front-wheel drive or E-Four all-wheel drive; a turbocharged 1.6-litre Morizo RR also exists.
