The Kia K8 (internal code GL3) is an executive / full-size sedan built by Kia since April 2021 as the successor to the K7/Cadenza, on the Hyundai-Kia N3 platform it shares with the seventh-generation Hyundai Grandeur/Azera. Pictures were released on 17 February 2021, and it went on sale in South Korea in April 2021 along with an online launch; features include a driver-centre layout with a curved display and 12-inch head-up display, a driver's ergo motion seat and a multi-function centre armrest. The K8 Hybrid followed on 4 May 2021 with a 1.6-litre turbo hybrid engine, and a refreshed K8 was revealed on 9 August 2024 with a redesigned front end, a wide LED light bar, and an updated interior and connectivity on the same powertrain lineup. The range comprises a 2.5-litre four (198 PS), a 3.5-litre V6 (300 PS, 0–100 km/h in 6.9 s), the 1.6 T-GDI hybrid (230 PS) and a 3.5-litre LPi engine (240 PS), the 8-speed automatic claimed to improve the V6 engines' fuel economy by up to 6 percent.
