FactThe EV4 is Kia's first dedicated EV that isn't an SUV, built as the battery-electric twin of the K4 sedan.
The Kia EV4 is a battery-electric C-segment compact car produced by Kia since March 2025 (model years 2026 onward; sedan built at Gwangmyeong, hatchback at Žilina, Slovakia), the fifth model in Kia's "EV" line-up and its third dedicated EV on the 400-volt architecture after the EV3, and Kia's first non-SUV dedicated EV, the battery-electric counterpart of the K4. Previewed by a concept on 12 October 2023 (Kia EV Day, then the LA show), it was first revealed on 17 February 2025 and fully introduced on 27 February 2025 alongside the EV2 and PV5, offered as a 4-door fastback sedan (also in Europe) and a 5-door hatchback with vertical headlamps and star-map lighting, a rear roof spoiler on the sedan and a panoramic display with a 12.3-inch cluster and 12.3-inch infotainment screen. Front-motor front-wheel drive came in 2025 and dual-motor all-wheel drive in 2026; the page gives no power figures, so none are entered.

Owning one
An estimate, for the EV4 dual motor AWD trim: fuel on its EPA figure and a dated national price, upkeep on a per-mile average for the kind of car it is.
