FactThe Recon's off-road Moab trim actually has less range than the regular model, 230 miles against 250.
The Jeep Recon is a battery-electric, off-road-oriented mid-size SUV heavily inspired by the Wrangler, first shown in images in September 2022 and built in Toluca, Mexico from 2026, reaching North American dealers on June 26, 2026. It uses Stellantis' STLA Large platform with fully independent suspension, removable doors, a swing-out tailgate with a full-size spare and a standard rear locking differential. A dual-motor all-wheel-drive system produces 650 hp and 620 lb-ft from a 100 kWh NMC battery on a 400-volt architecture. Range is 250 miles, or 230 miles for the Moab, which adds a Rock mode and wider fender flares.
