FactHongqi's HS6 set a Guinness World Record by driving 2,327 km without stopping to refuel or recharge.
The Hongqi HS6 is a plug-in hybrid mid-size luxury crossover SUV built by FAW's Hongqi in Changchun, unveiled on September 19, 2025 and on sale in China since December 16, 2025. It sits above the HS5 and is built on Hongqi's Honggu plug-in hybrid platform, with design work led by figures including former Rolls-Royce designer Giles Taylor. It combines a turbocharged 1.5-litre petrol engine with electric motors, with front- and all-wheel-drive versions. In November 2025 it set a Guinness World Record for the longest distance by a plug-in hybrid SUV without refuelling or recharging, 2,327 km.
