FactAfter more than three decades of the same basic Ambassador, the Nova update of 1990 finally modernized the fundamentals — new steering column, better brakes, better electricals.
Launched in 1990 in two variants, a petrol Deluxe and a Diesel DX. It received a newly designed steering wheel, steering column, better brakes and electricals; the brake pedal became top-hinged and the centrally mounted instruments flanked by two glove compartments gave way to a conventional layout with a single glovebox. It kept the square turn signals of the Mark IV and gained a new radiator grille.

The G80 Sport brought a 370 PS twin-turbo 3.3 V6, a mesh grille and copper-tinted chrome with copper stitching to match.
