The third-generation Haval H6 is a compact SUV and Haval's first model on the Lemon platform, debuting at the 2020 Chengdu Motor Show with pre-sales from July 2020. It is built in China and assembled in Thailand, Malaysia, Pakistan, Iran, Brazil and Uzbekistan. Engines are a 1.5-litre turbo and a newly developed 2.0-litre turbo; a hybrid (HEV) followed in March 2021 and a plug-in hybrid in December 2021. A facelift in April 2024 brought a new front with vertical daytime running lights, and the facelifted PHEV added a Hi4 all-wheel-drive version in 2025.

The second-generation Haval H6 launched in Blue Label and Red Label versions, told apart by the colour of the Haval badge; the two-label strategy was dropped in 2020.

The Haval H6 topped China's SUV sales chart for 103 straight months, then set an unbeaten single-month record of 80,495 units in December 2016.

Despite launching from a standing start in late 2025, the i60 topped GAC Aion's own sales chart through January's seasonal slowdown.

Every Defender before this one was body-on-frame — this generation broke decades of tradition with an aluminium unibody structure instead.

Crashed on the passenger side instead of the driver's, the 2014 Forester showed far more intrusion and would have rated Marginal with the IIHS.

The L405 was the first Range Rover with a fully aluminum monocoque body, cutting up to 420 kg from the outgoing steel-bodied L322.

Rear passengers get a 17.3-inch screen that extends from the roof, and a lidar sensor sits in the front of the roof.

Its range-extender variant is rated for 1,200 km on a tank and charge, over three times the car's electric-only range.
