It was offered as a four-door hardtop and sedan, two-door coupé, convertible (1971–1972) and station wagon, related to the Ford Galaxie, Custom and Country Squire and the Mercury Marquis. Engines were V8s from the 302 Windsor to the 460, with three- and four-speed Toploader manuals or three-speed automatics. It rode on a 121-inch wheelbase.
