FactFiat let the public choose this car's name from a shortlist of Pulse, Tuo and Domo before it ever wore badges.
The Fiat Pulse is a subcompact crossover SUV produced by Fiat mainly for the Latin American market since 2021, made in Brazil and largely based on the Argo hatchback. It is also available as a performance model known as the Pulse Abarth and as a coupé SUV derivative, the Fiat Fastback, since 2022. Revealed as an unnamed model in May 2021 in Brazil, its name was announced in June 2021 after the public voted among Pulse, Tuo and Domo; developed under Project 363, it is built on the MLA platform, an improved version of the Argo's, sharing bodywork parts such as the windshield and doors, and went on sale in Brazil in October 2021. It comes with four airbags, LED lighting, hill holder, traction control, ESC and front ventilated disc brakes, with automatic high beam, lane departure warning and collision avoidance optional. Engines are the 1.0-litre FireFly turbo three-cylinder, the 1.3-litre FireFly four-cylinder and the 1.3-litre GSE turbo four-cylinder, with a 5-speed manual or CVT and a 12V mild hybrid (T200 Hybrid). The Abarth Pulse, unveiled in March 2022, has exterior changes and a 1.3-litre FireFly turbocharged petrol engine producing 185 PS and 270 N·m; Fiat claimed 0–100 km/h in under 8 seconds and a top speed of 210 km/h (130 mph). The Pulse won Car of the Year 2022 (Autoesporte, Brazil) and the iF Design Award 2022, and Latin NCAP 3.5 rated it at 67% adult occupant protection in 2023.

Owning one
We don’t estimate running costs for a car like this. What it costs depends on its condition, its specialist and how it is driven, and an average would mislead.
