FactPartway through its run the Exeed LX picked up an entirely separate Chinese name, Zhuifeng (追风, "chasing the wind") — a whole second identity bolted onto an existing model.
The Exeed LX (also "Exeed Zhuifeng" in China), built 2019-2026, is a subcompact luxury crossover on the same platform as the first-generation Chery Tiggo 7, front-engine, front- or four-wheel drive — the second model under Chery's Exeed brand after the TX. Offered with a 1.5 L or 1.6 L turbo I4 (the page gives only a combined 156-197 hp range across both engines, not per-engine, so horsepower is not cited here). Wheelbase 105.1 in (2,670 mm), length 178.5 in (4,533 mm), width 72.8 in (1,848 mm), height 66.9 in (1,699 mm).

Owning one
We don’t estimate running costs for a car like this. What it costs depends on its condition, its specialist and how it is driven, and an average would mislead.

IIHS only crash-tests the driver's corner; tested on the passenger side instead, the CX-5 showed far worse intrusion.

Every Defender before this one was body-on-frame — this generation broke decades of tradition with an aluminium unibody structure instead.

Crashed on the passenger side instead of the driver's, the 2014 Forester showed far more intrusion and would have rated Marginal with the IIHS.

Rear passengers get a 17.3-inch screen that extends from the roof, and a lidar sensor sits in the front of the roof.

Its range-extender variant is rated for 1,200 km on a tank and charge, over three times the car's electric-only range.
