The Citroën C5 Aircross is a compact crossover SUV produced by the French automaker Citroën since 2017. The first-generation model was previewed by the Citroën Aircross concept car unveiled at the 2015 Shanghai Auto Show, and the production version was officially presented for the Chinese market at the 2017 Shanghai Auto Show; in Europe it was presented at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, with sales beginning later that year with the 2019 model, and production started in France at the PSA plant in Rennes in 2018. It is assembled as CKD in India since January 2021. On the technical side it is part of the Citroën "Advanced Comfort" program, with efforts focused on interior space and luminosity, notably through a large panoramic sliding roof, and on suspension comfort via a progressive hydraulic cushion system. It is the first Citroën vehicle equipped with a plug-in hybrid powertrain, introduced in November 2019, combining a PureTech 180 petrol engine with an 80 kW electric motor and a fully-electric range of around 50 km under WLTP. The second generation was released in April 2025 on the Stellantis STLA Medium platform.

Owning one
We don’t estimate running costs for a car like this. What it costs depends on its condition, its specialist and how it is driven, and an average would mislead.
