The Chery Arrizo 5 is a compact sedan built by Chery since 2016 on the M1X platform, designed by Lowie Vermeersch's Granstudio and previewed by the Alpha concepts of 2014 and 2015; its production version debuted at the 2015 Guangzhou Auto Show. It was called the Arrizo EX in 2019–2020 and also spawned the larger Arrizo 6 / Arrizo 5 Plus. Engines are a 1.5-litre with a five-speed manual or CVT, a 1.2-litre turbo and a 1.5-litre turbo; an electric Arrizo 5e was also offered. A facelift in October 2023 updated the front bumper for the 2024 model year.
