FactThe XT6 was built in both Spring Hill, Tennessee and Shanghai at once, one plant for each of its two home markets.
The Cadillac XT6 is a three-row mid-size luxury crossover introduced at the North American International Auto Show on January 12, 2019 and sold from June 2019 as a 2020 model. It was built at Spring Hill, Tennessee on GM's C1XX platform, and by SAIC-GM in Shanghai for China. Engines were a turbocharged 2.0-litre four of 237 hp or a 3.6-litre V6 of 310 hp, each with a nine-speed automatic and front- or all-wheel drive. The first-generation XT6 was discontinued in North America in 2025; the electric Vistiq took its place.

Owning one
An estimate, for the AWD · 3.6L trim: fuel on its EPA figure and a dated national price, upkeep on a per-mile average for the kind of car it is.

Despite launching from a standing start in late 2025, the i60 topped GAC Aion's own sales chart through January's seasonal slowdown.

Every Defender before this one was body-on-frame — this generation broke decades of tradition with an aluminium unibody structure instead.

Crashed on the passenger side instead of the driver's, the 2014 Forester showed far more intrusion and would have rated Marginal with the IIHS.
