The BYD Han, launched in 2020 as the flagship of BYD's Dynasty Series (named after the Han dynasty), was notable as one of the earliest Chinese cars capable of 0-100 km/h in around 3 seconds; it uses BYD's structural Blade LFP battery. The base Han EV (Extended Range) is front-wheel drive with a 76.9 kWh battery, a 163 kW (222 PS) motor, 605 km NEDC range and 0-100 km/h in 7.9 seconds; the four-wheel-drive Flagship adds a 200 kW (272 PS) rear motor for 363 kW (494 PS) combined and 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, with 550 km NEDC range. Wheelbase 2,920 mm (115.0 in), length 4,960-4,995 mm (195.3-196.7 in), width 1,910 mm (75.2 in), height 1,495 mm (58.9 in). Plug-in hybrid Han DM/DM-i/DM-p variants exist and are not entered here.
