The second-generation Buick Encore was revealed alongside the Encore GX at the 2019 Shanghai Auto Show and built in Shenyang, China, from 2019 to 2022 on GM's GEM platform, related to the 2019 Chevrolet Tracker, and was not exported to North America. It was front- or all-wheel drive with a 1.0 litre turbo three-cylinder of 123 hp and a six-speed automatic, or a 1.3 litre turbo three-cylinder of 162 hp.
