The Buick Encore GX (codename 9BUB) is a subcompact crossover built by GM Korea, revealed at the 2019 Shanghai Auto Show and on sale in North America from early 2020 as a 2020 model. It shares the VSS-F platform with the Chevrolet Trailblazer and sits between the Encore and the Envision. Front-drive models use a CVT, with a turbocharged 1.2- or 1.3-litre three-cylinder; all-wheel-drive models have the 1.3 with a nine-speed automatic. It was facelifted for 2024 with Preferred, ST and Avenir trims, and in early 2026 Buick dropped the 1.2-litre engine.
