FactFirst Alfa with a centered numberplate instead of the brand's traditional offset one, a switch forced by new pedestrian safety rules.
The Junior (Type 966) is a B-segment crossover built since 2024 at Tychy, Poland, on the STLA Small (e-CMP2) platform shared with the Jeep Avenger and Fiat 600; it is the smallest Alfa Romeo on sale and replaces the MiTo and Giulietta. Revealed on 10 April 2024 as the Milano, it was renamed Junior five days later after the Italian government objected to an Italian-sounding name on a car built abroad. It is offered as the battery electric Elettrica, Speciale and Veloce with a 54 kWh battery, and as the Ibrida mild hybrid with a 1.2-litre turbo three.
