SEAT built the 204 PS eHybrid Leon with no Cupra badge, the most power the brand ever sold without one.
The Cupra 280's Ultimate Sub8 pack saved weight by swapping climate control for a smaller heater and cutting the speakers from eight to four.
The Mk3 León is shorter and up to 90 kg lighter than the car it replaced — yet a longer wheelbase actually gave it more rear legroom and cargo space.
