The third-gen Countryman left its old European factories behind — it's now built at BMW's own Leipzig plant, on a line BMW itself called 'one line, two brands, three drives.'

No British soil involved: this Countryman has been built at VDL Nedcar in Born, the Netherlands, since November 2016.

This was the first BMW-era MINI built entirely outside Britain — assembled under contract by Magna Steyr in Graz, Austria.
