The fourth-generation Boyue L, released in April 2025, moved to Geely's GEEA 3.0 electrical architecture and has a 25.6-inch AR head-up display.
The Boyue Cool (G426) was first developed as the Geely Binyue L and built on the BMA platform, not the CMA of the Boyue L; it was renamed Boyue in June 2024 and exported as the Cityray.
The Boyue L, unveiled in August 2022 as code FX11, rides on the CMA platform shared with the Xingyue and Xingyue L, and is sold abroad as the Geely Starray or Atlas.
Geely turned the Boyue Pro into a pickup, the Farizon FX, and claimed it as the first car-based truck in China.
This Boyue almost launched under a completely different name — it was originally planned as part of Geely's Emgrand lineup before the company spun it out as its own standalone model in March 2016.
