The GRMN Yaris ("Gazoo Racing, tuned by the Meister of the Nürburgring") is a limited-production version of the GR Yaris RZ, unveiled at the 2022 Tokyo Auto Salon and sold from the first quarter of 2022. Its 1.6-litre turbo three-cylinder gains 20 N⋅m to 390 N⋅m (288 lb-ft) with unchanged power, behind a close-ratio gearbox with shot-peened gears and a reinforced clutch. A twill-weave carbon bonnet and roof and deleted rear seats save about 20 kg, and 545 extra spot welds stiffen the body. Circuit and Rally Packages were offered. 500 were made.
