The 722 Edition, introduced in 2006, is named for the start number of the 300 SLR in which Stirling Moss and Denis Jenkinson won the 1955 Mille Miglia. Its modified supercharged V8 makes 641 hp, with lighter 19-inch wheels, stiffer dampers, a 10 mm lower ride height and a more aggressive air brake. The 722 S roadster, unveiled at the 2007 Frankfurt show, went on sale in January 2009. Each was limited to 150 units.
