FactSigra means 'quick response' in Sanskrit, chosen for a three-row minivan built to hit Indonesia's low-cost green car price rules.
The Daihatsu Sigra is a mini MPV with standard three-row seating designed by Daihatsu and manufactured by Astra Daihatsu Motor in Karawang, Indonesia since July 2016 exclusively for that market, developed under chief engineer Nobuhiko Ono on a lengthened Ayla platform (Daihatsu Global A-Segment; related to the Perodua Axia and Bezza) and positioned below the Xenia as a more affordable three-row option; Toyota sells it as the Calya (built at Karawang by TMMIN from 2019). Built to Indonesia's Low Cost Green Car regulation with a claimed localisation of 94% and an S-shaped front logo (the Calya a Garuda-inspired badge); "Sigra" is Sanskrit for "quick response", "Calya" means "perfection". The production model was unveiled on 2 August 2016 alongside the Calya and launched at GIIAS on 11 August 2016, previewed by the UFC, UFC2 and UFC 3 concepts of 2012–2014. Engines: the 998 cc 1KR-VE DOHC 12-valve straight-three with VVT-i (Sigra only, B400) with a 5-speed manual, and the 1,197 cc 3NR-VE DOHC 16-valve straight-four with Dual VVT-i (B401) with a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic. The facelift of 16 September 2019 brought a redesigned front fascia and LED headlights (bar the Sigra 1.0 D), with minor updates on 7 July 2022 and a third minor facelift unveiled at GIIAS 2026 (1.2 R only). Wheelbase 2,525 mm (99.4 in), length 4,070–4,110 mm, width 1,655 mm (65.2 in), height 1,600 mm (63.0 in), kerb weight 920–990 kg. ASEAN NCAP: Sigra adult 6.82 / child 46%, Calya adult 12.93 / child 73% (2016); total Indonesian sales 445,304 Sigra and 456,262 Calya to 2025.

Cooling the C6 RS6’s twin-turbo V10 took seven separate radiators and four electric fans under the bonnet.

The original RS6 debuted Audi's clever hydraulic Dynamic Ride Control suspension — and enough owners got tired of its leaking dampers that they ripped the whole system out for plain coilovers.

The C7-generation RS6 Avant never officially reached America at all — buyers there got the RS7 Sportback instead, running the exact same engine and platform in a different body.

For a few years, this Outback's six-cylinder trim came with genuine McIntosh audio — the same esteemed hi-fi name found in home theaters, one of the only cars ever to get it from the factory.

Subaru didn't have the budget for an all-new SUV, so it dressed up a Legacy wagon instead. A Subaru of America executive later put it bluntly: "[the Outback] saved our company."

The new Outback's full-width tail light bar has a 2 ft ruler built in, for measuring whatever you are about to load.

This Outback shared Top Gear's Car of the Year crown — an unusual honor for a jacked-up wagon to split with the Ford Mondeo in 2007.

A wagon beat the SUVs at their own game: this Outback generation won Motor Trend's Sport/Utility of the Year award for 2010.
