FactAbout 100,000 units were recalled in 2010 for the same sticking accelerator pedal fault that hit its Toyota Aygo sibling.
A city car developed by PSA Peugeot Citroën with Toyota under the B-Zero project, marketed from June 2005 and built at the TPCA joint-venture plant in Kolín, Czech Republic, with the badge-engineered Peugeot 107 and Toyota Aygo. The three siblings debuted at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show. Its one-box body was designed by Donato Coco, and on the five-door C1 and 107 the tail-light cluster runs from the edge of the rear doors to the rear window. Der Spiegel ranked it second-best for fuel economy among both petrol cars (after the Prius) and diesels (after the smart fortwo mhd), and the German Automobile Club put it top of the sub-small class for low breakdown rates. It became a popular cheap endurance racing car like the 2CV, and in January 2010 about 100,000 C1 and 107 were recalled for a sticking accelerator pedal. Euro NCAP's rating fell from four to three stars for the 2012 facelift.

Owning one
We don’t estimate running costs for a car like this. What it costs depends on its condition, its specialist and how it is driven, and an average would mislead.
