FactThe C1 was built at Kolín in the Czech Republic, a plant Toyota took over completely in early 2021, a year before the C1 ended.
The second-generation C1 was presented at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show and built at Toyota Peugeot Citroën Automobile in the Czech Republic alongside the Peugeot 108 and Toyota Aygo. It came as a three- or five-door hatchback and as the Airscape with a folding canvas roof. Engines were a Toyota 1.0-litre three-cylinder and, until 2018, a PSA 1.2 PureTech three-cylinder. A planned successor on the TNGA-B platform was cancelled, and production stopped on 1 January 2022.
